Terms of Use

To the best of my knowledge, all information I provide to my service provider is true and accurate. I consent to letting my service provider know if I believe my safety is in danger. I assume full responsibility for informing Skin Joy Spa of any medical or psychological condition that might influence my service or results. I am aware of the risks associated with the services being offered and voluntarily accept them. I have had the opportunity to ask questions regarding these risks and other potential complications. I am aware that providing false or misleading information may lead to undesired results and complications, and I hereby release Skin Joy Spa from any liability in the event that this happens. I also understand that failing to follow the post-service care instructions could result in undesired complications or effects and hereby waive Skin Joy Spa’s liability if complications occur. I am aware that the service provider does not diagnose any physical or mental conditions, illnesses, or diseases. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby waive and release Skin Joy Spa, its owners, employees, or agents from any and all present or future claims, suits, or related causes of action for negligence resulting in injury, loss, death, costs, or other injuries or damages to me as a result of services rendered by Skin Joy Spa. I acknowledge that I am releasing Skin Joy Spa from any and all claims or liabilities for death, personal injury, property loss, or damages of any kind sustained while on the premises, and that this waiver and release shall bind myself and/or any members of my family, heirs, administrators, personal representatives, or assignees.

I acknowledge that this application and waiver is valid for all services and will not end unless both parties specifically request it. I am aware that Skin Joy Spa is a formal setting, and that any inappropriate conduct may result in the termination of any services with full payment due. I agree to the terms stated above and waive any claims against Skin Joy Spa by signing this form.

Business Policy

Skin Joy Spa is committed to your well-being, all of our clients' well-being, the well-being of our employees and of our community. We have implemented additional standards in an attempt to mitigate the risk associated with COVID-19 by following the sanitation and disinfection guidelines issued by Health Canada. Moreover, we adhere to The Guidelines For Personal Services Establishments (PSE) and the policies that support The Public Health Act and The Regulated Activities Regulations for PSE operators as outlined by The Ministry of Health. I understand and acknowledge that my therapist, the staff, the business, or the owner of this business cannot completely control the spread of COVID-19 and I have chosen to enter this business and consent to receive close contact service(s) with full knowledge of the risk of contracting COVID-19 when social distancing is not observed. Because we are all in this together, your therapist and all employees of The Skin Joy Spa also acknowledge and agree to these same standards and statements every day. I agree to these terms and policies. 

Spa Etiquette & Cancellations

Mask Protocol- Face masks are no longer required for guests of Skin Joy Spa. Please note that staff will have a mask ready to wear should a guest feel more comfortable. 

Please note that we have a strict 24 hour cancellation policy for 1 treatment booking and a 72 hour cancellation policy for groups of 3 or more. If less than the above time notice is provided, a fee of $150 per treatment will be charged.

A valid credit card is required to hold your reservation. Please note that your late arrival at your place of residence may result in reduced treatment time. Failure to provide adequate notice, will result in a $150 late cancellation fee per treatment booked and these clients will be required to pay in full and in advance to re-book. 

Pricing and Payment: To maintain maximum standards of quality service, prices may change without prior notification. All major credit cards are accepted. All services are subject to a 5% GST.

Gratuities

We are dedicated to making each visit with us an exceptional experience. Gratuities are not included in our prices. If you are pleased with the services provided, it is customary to give 15-20% to each spa specialist.

Spa hours: 7:00am - 8:00pm Monday-Sunday. Available after hours for an additional 150$ fee per treatment.

Setup

Your treatment provider will arrive 25 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to allow for treatment set up and a complimentary consultation. To enhance the tranquility of your ‘spa environment’, we ask that you turn off any mobile devices upon our arrival. We require a 8 x 10 foot and clean area for treatments. Pets are not permitted in the treatment room and we reserve the right to deny services if the treatment area is unsuitably hygienic.

A complimentary and refreshing beverage will be provided for each guest.
